I know that I’m featuring a lot of artists lately, but I simply can’t help it; one look at the work of Larissa Podgoretz and I was lost. Every one of her enameled jewelry pieces is a work of art in itself; a beautiful little picture framed in precious metal. Her work is mysterious and visually enticing, reminiscent of Art Nouveau, Japanese traditional art, even Pre-raphaelite painting… and every little detail is worked out to perfection, making for a glorious meeting of superb skill and art-historical knowledge. *is having a bit of an art history orgasm here* My favorite pieces are featured below, but do check out her other work too, it’s gorgeous!
My absolute personal favorite must be the waterlily triptych necklace… but honestly, I love everything. *sigh* For more drool-worthy jewelry, go here!
