Letting me in a craft store when I’m feeling crafty is like letting a hungry person do the food shopping: it doesn’t end well. For my wallet, that is. I bought myself a large amount of red seed beads, red ribbon, red sewing thread… And approximately four hours later, not counting the time it took me to get home, I had made myself a “slit throat choker”. My fingers were aching from the many times I pricked them, and if I had had to sew another seed bead onto a ribbon I would have screamed, but the results were rather to my liking…
What do you think? The color in the last pic is most like the actual color. I’m actually quite proud of it… And as you can see, it matches my blood red manicure! (I think I’ll go as a stylish murder victim to this year’s Halloween… unless I have a better idea by then, of course.)

Where did you get the idea for it? It’s quite inspired.
I saw something “slit throat inspired” in an Etsy shop, but it was made in some sort of plastic, and I thought I could get a similar effect with beads 😉
