I love Russia. I have the pleasure of knowing a lot of Russian people, so I knew the country is fab already, yet Moscow Fashion Week is what actually makes me declare my love now. Quirky, avant-garde fashion that actually manages to look good on a woman (glares at Chanel and the potato sack dresses of last time) while being epic in far more was than one… I relished at the bizarre hats by Slava Zaitsev, was slightly astonished by the Zombie-like models Bessarion sent on the catwalk and found out that Bunker Z designer Olga Kiselenko shares my opinion on horns (they need to be worn!), and last but not least I lost my heart to a couple outfits by Vilshenko (hint, there were robes involved.) All I can say is: HOW DID I NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS BEFORE?!
I can’t share every single look I loved, but I tried to pick out a few. Any of you who love fashion should check out the Moscow Fashion Week, and Russian fashion in general… trust me, it’s worth the time! Check out any fashion show you like on http://nowfashion.com
