All Hail Skadi! A Webcomic That Will Make You Laugh

I was reading Norse myths (a friend gave me a copy of the Edda for Christmas -makes excellent bedtime literature-) and did some research about some characters, and when on the wikipedia page of the Norse goddess/giantess Skadi I found a link to this webcomic… This Skadi is a young barbarian woman with no tact, a large ass and a serious battle axe, always accompanied by her loyal slave Diseasoid. She has only one quest: To Eat of Every Meat. And she will go to great lengths for that. Very great lengths. Meet exhibitionist troll kings, lesbian sex demons, flagellants and more ridiculous creatures sprouted from the minds of Katie Rice and Luke Cormican…

About quantumphysica

My name is QuantumPhysica The Insane, but you can call me QP. I am insane, admitted to a mental hospital in Belgium, and waiting for a decent diagnosis at the moment. Once I was a physics student with goals in life and what more; now I'm simply the patient of Room 93. Ever wondered what life is like in the psychiatric ward? I'll tell you everything you ever wanted to know... I am... particularly twitchy of personality. But I also am genuinely interested in everything. There is nothing that doesn't interest me, really. Everything, from quantum computers to fashion and cars to traveling... I also give advice. On anything. No taboos whatsoever. And I make lists of things...

  1. weordmyndum says:

Prose or Poetic Eddas? (Sorry, I’m a mythology geek.)

    • Both… My friend said I needed something fun to distract me. 🙂
The reason I ended up looking up Skadi was because in Skaldskaparmal she asks the gods to make her laugh and to get her so far Loki then binds his testicles to a goat’s beard while making weird noises. I thought I must have misunderstood that part. I didn’t.
