The Therapy I Really Need… Doctor Cat!

When you’re as “mentally unstable” as I am, you find yourself often needing a doctor; getting prescriptions and so on… But really, I often find having a purring cat on my lap a more comforting thing than the stuff I’ve been prescribed. So what would be the best therapy for me? A cat that is also a doctor, of course!

About quantumphysica

My name is QuantumPhysica The Insane, but you can call me QP. I am insane, admitted to a mental hospital in Belgium, and waiting for a decent diagnosis at the moment. Once I was a physics student with goals in life and what more; now I'm simply the patient of Room 93. Ever wondered what life is like in the psychiatric ward? I'll tell you everything you ever wanted to know... I am... particularly twitchy of personality. But I also am genuinely interested in everything. There is nothing that doesn't interest me, really. Everything, from quantum computers to fashion and cars to traveling... I also give advice. On anything. No taboos whatsoever. And I make lists of things...

    Love it.

I suspect that you’re super smart and sensitive. Cat’s meld well with that.

  5. Amazing!

Also, a cat that is also a doctor? Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah why didn’t I think of that?

  6. My cat has kept me alive and (at least more) grounded for 12 years now. My fiance, Joe, and I even chose to live illegally in a tent in a city park forest rather than give her up to live with his relatives or go to a shelter. And she (Destiny Driftwood Detour) was in her element. We have never regretted that decision, and she is still with us today. She even brought me a mouse the other day. Well, really I found her still playing with it under my bed the other morninng after being mystified by various bumps and movements all night long. I am so pleased that it I found it before she decided to hide it further under the bed… I explained that I was putting it out the window (we live in the basement, so she goes in and out to the sidewalk through said window) because eventually it wuld start to stink. She watched me, as I praised and thanked her and showed her where it was in case she wasn’ finished playing with it, sniffed once at it and has ignored it since. I have also thrown it farther from the window 🙂 I would like to nomiinate her as one honorary Doctor Cat.
This is an enormousely cute post 🙂
