Taxidermy Fashion: Creations by Raven Jade

Victorian curiosity cabinets always intrigued me… Taxidermy is truly an art, but it can be fashion as well, so proves Raven Jade with her slightly creepy jewelry collection. A pendant made from a mouse fetus, quail feet as earrings, or a vial full of dead spiders dangling down your neck? If you’re into the slightly unsettling, you’ll sure find this store to your liking…

About quantumphysica

My name is QuantumPhysica The Insane, but you can call me QP. I am insane, admitted to a mental hospital in Belgium, and waiting for a decent diagnosis at the moment. Once I was a physics student with goals in life and what more; now I'm simply the patient of Room 93. Ever wondered what life is like in the psychiatric ward? I'll tell you everything you ever wanted to know... I am... particularly twitchy of personality. But I also am genuinely interested in everything. There is nothing that doesn't interest me, really. Everything, from quantum computers to fashion and cars to traveling... I also give advice. On anything. No taboos whatsoever. And I make lists of things...

  1. So that’s all real? Not like fake taxidermy?

    • Nope, it’s all real. Cruelty free, but real xD

      • Ahhh that’s so strange!!! I couldn’t wear the chicken feet or the rabbit. I used to have rabbits as pets so that’s off limits and chicken feet…well….they’re chicken feet!

      • Well yeah, I understand…chicken feet are a bit strange indeed… But I featured crow feet as well a while ago, and that I sure would wear…

      • My Mom has a fur coat, silver, that I loved! I think it was wolf or something else fairly large. I felt like Cruella Deville when I wore it!

      • Oh waw… Silver fur is beautiful… My gran had a lot of fur coats, fur things in general actually, I always wore them when I was little…
I inherited a lovely stole from her, made of two taxidermy minks complete with heads and paws and tails, conjoined at the heads. I call them Phobos and Deimos because everyone who sees them is either crept or grossed out…
