There is no spoon? Spoon Rings

A while ago I did a post on spoons, featuring jewelry made out of vintage silver spoons. This time I want to dedicate a whole post to one particular sort of spoon-based jewelry: Spoon Rings. Tom and Jessica Dickson of California Spoon Rings make lovely spoon rings on order… Since I love all up cycling efforts and those involving spoons even more, here you have a selection of my personal favorites from their collection.

About quantumphysica

My name is QuantumPhysica The Insane, but you can call me QP. I am insane, admitted to a mental hospital in Belgium, and waiting for a decent diagnosis at the moment. Once I was a physics student with goals in life and what more; now I'm simply the patient of Room 93. Ever wondered what life is like in the psychiatric ward? I'll tell you everything you ever wanted to know... I am... particularly twitchy of personality. But I also am genuinely interested in everything. There is nothing that doesn't interest me, really. Everything, from quantum computers to fashion and cars to traveling... I also give advice. On anything. No taboos whatsoever. And I make lists of things...

  1. Beautiful. I used to make spoon bracelets at camp. Such fun. The textures and shapes can be so unique, and there is something wonderfully tattoo-like about them.

  2. Monday says:

I just went to a craft fair where one of the vendors made spoon jewelry: rings, bracelets, and necklaces. I don’t think they did earrings, but I imagine earrings would be quite heavy. Anyway, it was interesting to see the variety of interesting jewelry they make!

  3. Those are very beautiful! I would wear those and I don’t like rings!
