Repurposed books become funny art prints at Art&Retro

Another great Etsy find are the so called “Dictionary Page Prints”, art prints made on old dictionary pages. Other old documents can be repurposed like that as well. They make lovely and original accessories… When I saw the prints of Art&Retro the funny images just instantly made my day; they are quirky and yet they remain a stylish and unexpected decoration… Check below for some of my favorites!

About quantumphysica

My name is QuantumPhysica The Insane, but you can call me QP. I am insane, admitted to a mental hospital in Belgium, and waiting for a decent diagnosis at the moment. Once I was a physics student with goals in life and what more; now I'm simply the patient of Room 93. Ever wondered what life is like in the psychiatric ward? I'll tell you everything you ever wanted to know... I am... particularly twitchy of personality. But I also am genuinely interested in everything. There is nothing that doesn't interest me, really. Everything, from quantum computers to fashion and cars to traveling... I also give advice. On anything. No taboos whatsoever. And I make lists of things...

  1. Sweet!

Every Spring and Winter Toronto hosts the One of a Kind Show. They have everything from food to paintings, to clothing and household items. One of my favourite things there are old children’s books that have been made into journals. The pages have been taken out and replaced with lined or blank paper! I think they may keep the odd original page in there too. They are really awesome!

I absolutely love every single one of these. They actually look quite easy to make. I might try one day.
