Nietzschean Wisdom for Schizophrenics (and everyone else bothered by music and voices)

Nietzschean Wisdom

Stop staring at me!

Will you please let go of the ridiculous idea that you and only you are hearing the truth?

About quantumphysica

My name is QuantumPhysica The Insane, but you can call me QP. I am insane, admitted to a mental hospital in Belgium, and waiting for a decent diagnosis at the moment. Once I was a physics student with goals in life and what more; now I'm simply the patient of Room 93. Ever wondered what life is like in the psychiatric ward? I'll tell you everything you ever wanted to know... I am... particularly twitchy of personality. But I also am genuinely interested in everything. There is nothing that doesn't interest me, really. Everything, from quantum computers to fashion and cars to traveling... I also give advice. On anything. No taboos whatsoever. And I make lists of things...

  1. None of us have the same realities. Many may share similarities but its never exactly the same. We just like to think it is. I was trained in school to accept that everyone has their own truths and that those truths are valid. I wish everyone had learned that.

    • can’t agree more on that… Ignorance leads to self-absorbedness…
      What did you study then?

      • Social Work. We rarely talked about mental health so it was just the idea that regardless of who we are we see the world differently. So I could say that in my reality is there is no racism because I have never experienced racism. Talk to someone who is not white and they will tell you that in their reality there is racism.

We may want to treat people equally but in order to do that we need to acknowledge the oppression they’ve faced.

      • that’s a good way to see the world…
When you keep in mind everyone is only human, and sees the world differently according to his own nature and experiences… you find you have so much less trouble with people…
